10.35 comes with even more improvements. Dive in to discover everything that’s new!
1. NHS Treatment Plan Board Enhancements
a. The All filter has been renamed to In-Progress, displaying active NHS Treatment Plans (incomplete COTs).
- By default, the In-Progress filter selects Proposed, Accepted and Presented treatment plan statuses.
- The Submit Claim button is displayed against the treatment plans if at least one NHS treatment is in either Service Completed or Completed status.
b. In contrast, the All Expiring UDAs, UDAs Expiring this week, UDAs Expiring this month, UDAs Expiring after a month and UDAs Expired filters will list only Fully Completed or Service Completed Treatment plan statuses.
Note: As per NHS rules, Claims that fall under On-Hold, Failed, Invalid, or Withdrawn statuses will result in UDAs being expired, unless a new/valid claim is resubmitted.
To help you manage this, Treatment Plans with an already raised claim, where the claim status is ‘On-Hold, Failed, Invalid, or Withdrawn’, are now displayed in the NHS Treatment Plan Board and listed under ‘UDAs Expiring’ filters.
- Use View Claim to access On-Hold/Failed/Invalid claims from the Claims grid and navigate from there to the treatment plan to correct and resubmit the claim.
- Use the Submit Claim button for withdrawn claim status, allowing clinicians to easily resubmit claims.
- Once resubmitted, these claim status changes are applied and are excluded from the NHS Treatment Plan Board.
1. Improved Receipt Linking for Payment Plans
a. Previously, installment payments of Payment Plans had to match the exact receipt amount. Users can now make smaller or split payments toward an installment, allowing payments to be made using multiple payment sources.
b. Users can also link existing receipts with a remaining balance to a payment plan installment.
c. If a payment plan installment is skipped, the skipped amount can be:
- Added in full to the next installment, or
- Split across multiple upcoming installments.
d. When linking a receipt that exceeds the installment amount, the remaining balance can be reused for future installments.
Note: Skipped installments cannot be reversed once processed.
1. Communication Usage Analytics
a. Click the all-new icon on the top bar to view the current month’s Usage Analytics of:
- Bulk messages sent via the Reschedule Queue, Short Call, Recall List, and Opportunity Miner.
- Direct messages sent from +Message, IRIS, Communication Hub, and Patient Inbox.
- Engagement campaigns
This analytics view shows usage against limits, including the number of free messages remaining and the amount charged per month for the additional units used.

Less guesswork. More booked appointments!
2. Direct Appointment Booking via Your Practice’s Google Business Profile
a. Convert Google searches directly into confirmed appointments! CareStack’s brand new Reserve with Google integration allows customers to book an appointment straight from your practice location’s Google Business Profile (GBP), leading them right into your online appointment portal.
- Appointments are booked securely within CareStack, ensuring no patient data is shared with Google.
Note: Reach out to support.uk@carestack.com to enable the Reserve with Google integration for your practice.
1. Enhancements to the Production and Collection Report
a. Introduced two new columns: Refunds and Membership Credits.
- Net Collection is calculated as: Gross Collection + Collection Adjustments − Refunds − Membership Credits
2. Filter Reports By Appointment Flags
- A new Appointment Flag filter is now available in the Appointments Report and in Opportunity Miner when the Appointments category is selected.
3. Payroll
a. Our Payroll for private practices makes payroll generation effortless, letting you set up profiles and assign them to clinicians in just a few clicks, with access configurable via Permissions in Practice Settings.
b. Want to set up Clinician Payouts exactly how you need them? Easily create flexible Payroll Profiles based on Applied Payments.
- For Payouts, you can now fine-tune them with Customisable Adjustments and apply Additions and Deductions.
- You can set a Minimum Guarantee for Clinicians, ensuring they receive the highest amount of the two; either the minimum amount or the earnings they made.
- Easily auto-deduct Lab Case costs directly from Clinician Payouts via the Payroll Profile.
c. Assign a Payroll Profile and Pay Frequency to each clinician, edit Minimum Guarantees without changing the original profile, and bulk assign settings to multiple clinicians at once.
d. Swiftly Generate Payrolls by selecting specific locations and pay frequencies. For recurring frequencies, the system automatically determines the end date for you.
- Each payroll generation processes as a single batch, ensuring only one valid payroll per clinician for a given date range.
- Payrolls that include lab cases appear as Pending Review until approved, while others can be Published directly (or Partially Published if mixed).
- You can also Void published payrolls as needed.
e. Overview your payouts with a 13-month summary and detailed Clinician Breakdown, easily filtered by location or clinician.
f. Secure access by setting a PIN for users accessing payroll.
