CareStack has partnered with Google to enable our customers to accept online appointment bookings directly from their Google Business Profile (GBP), helping practices convert high-intent Google searches into confirmed appointments.
With this integration, when a patient searches for a practice on Google Search or Google Maps, they can click 'Book Appointment' and be seamlessly redirected to the practice’s CareStack online appointment booking page to complete the booking.
This integration is built on Google’s official Appointments Redirect framework and is fully managed by CareStack. All booking activity continues to happen within CareStack, and no patient data is shared with Google.

High-Level Enablement Flow Overview
Internal teams collect required business, location, and booking details from the customer:
- Google Business Profile showing name, address, and phone.
- Make sure the client has a verified GBP.
Google validates:
- Business details,
- Google Business Profile match,
- Booking URL and domain configuration.
Once approved, the 'Book Appointment' button appears on:
- Google Search
- Google Maps
- Google Business Profile
Information Required from Customers
To enable the integration, the following details are required per location:
Business & Location Information
- Business name (must exactly match GBP)
- Full address (street, city, state, postal code)
- Primary phone number (must match GBP)
- Google Maps / Google Business Profile URL
Booking Information
- Location-level online appointment booking URL (Account-level URL may be used if location-level URLs are disabled).
Once these details are collected, raise a service request to support.uk@carestack.com to enable the integration.
Expected Timeline
- Booking link goes live 2 weeks after data submission. (depending on Google validation and GBP accuracy).
