Read on to explore everything the 10.24 Release has to offer!
Front Office
1. Lab Cases
- To populate the Location in a Lab Case, either: (1) select a location or (2) select an appointment first, and its location will populate automatically. If an appointment is selected, the appointment’s location will override the selected location.
2. Appointment Status
- Easily reorder Custom and System Appointment Statuses with a simple drag and drop.
- System and Custom Appointment Statuses are now displayed together in the Appointment Status grid, allowing users to view descriptions for all statuses.
3. Production Calendar
- Practice Managers, based on the location they have access to, can ‘Edit’ or ‘Add’ Clinician Availability Schedules. However, users can view the schedules of all other locations regardless of their access level.
4. Dashboard
- Users can now ‘Hide’ the daily metrics on the left and restore them anytime by clicking ‘Show Daily Metrics’ with their preference retained throughout the login session.
Diary
1. Routing Slip
- Routing slips are printed by the scheduled appointment time. For appointments with identical times, the system prints them in the order they were created, with earlier ones taking priority.
- The two extraction Draw Types, Planned and Completed have been merged into a single Draw Type for Extraction. A diagonal line over the tooth indicates planned extraction, while diagonal cross lines mark completion, streamlining the process and saving time.
Clinical
1. Treatment Planner
- At a Phase level, the overall treatment time is now displayed by summing up the total procedure durations, allowing clinicians to assess the total phase duration and simplify treatment planning quickly.
- Edits are allowed only at the phase level, not at an individual code level.
- When added to the Clipboard, the duration is automatically reflected in the appointment details.
- When a treatment phase is on the clipboard, any new codes added to that phase are automatically reflected.
2. Chart
- In all cases, the Implant Draw Type will appear at the topmost, regardless of other treatments, including when placed on a missing tooth. This order of precedence will be maintained consistently.
3. BPE (Basic Periodontal Examination)
- For newly created or edited BPEs, the most recent charting will be displayed first.
4. Appointment Length
- Users can configure the preferred Slot Duration of 5, 10, or 15 minutes to modify the Appointment Length for a Procedure Code within the Diary Settings.
- These updates will be reflected in the chart for the relevant procedure codes.
Reporting & Analytics
1. Operational Reports
- A Learn More button has been added to all Operational Reports to direct users to the relevant Zendesk article.
2. Completed Treatments Report
- In the Completed Treatments Report, a new Group By filter named Fee Schedule has been added.
- The Number of Patients column is now clickable, allowing users to view a detailed list of patients and their associated information.
3. Recalls Breakdown Report
- A new Group By filter option called Recall Name has been introduced.
- Additionally, four new columns have been added to the report: Completed, Scheduled Recalls %, Completed Recalls %, and Recall Name (accessible upon selecting Location > Clinician Name).
- The filter criteria previously labelled 'Recall Code' has been updated to 'Recall Name'.
4. Prescriptions Report
- The newly introduced Prescriptions Report provides a comprehensive view of all prescriptions entered into the system.
- It supports filtering by Prescribing User, Clinician, or specific Medications, making it easy to generate reports focusing on prescriptions entered by a particular user or for a specific medication.
- The report features a simple, single-view format with three mandatory fields: Date Range, Location, and the Columns to display, offering flexibility and ease of use.
5. Refer In Report
- Introduced 3 new columns, namely:
- Broken Appointment Count of patients linked to the Referral Source,
- Lifetime Applied Payments represent the total sum of Applied Payments (both patient and insurance) over the lifetime of patients referred through a particular referral source, &
- Planned Treatment Amount shows the value of Planned Treatments within the selected Date Range, excluding procedure codes marked as completed, deleted, or referred out.
- A new column for the patient’s ZIP code has been added to the Detail View to help users quickly identify patient locations.
Patient Engagement
1. Patient Alerts
- You can now select individual Alerts to Snooze or Delete as needed.
- Additionally, users can snooze an alert indefinitely by selecting Always from the drop-down.
- Easily identify the snoozed alerts by the Snoozed label in the Alert Level column, with the snooze reappear time shown in the Snoozed Until column.
