1. Landing Page
⭐ ️ For many of you the Diary is where you spend most of your time. To make things easier you can now choose to have the Diary as your landing page. This removes the need to navigate each time you log in and makes it easier to get back to the Diary from other screens.
- Introduced the option to set either the Front Office Dashboard or the Diary as the Default Landing Page when a practice user logs in.
- Click the CareStack logo from any page to access the default landing page.
2. Reschedule Queue/ Short Queue
- Sort items in the Reschedule Queue and Short Call List by Appointment Date & Time in either newest to oldest or oldest to newest order, based on preference.
- You can now filter items in the Reschedule Queue to show patients with or without Future Appointments.
3. Book Family Appointments using Custom Filters via Find Slot
⭐ Managing multiple appointments for family members just got easier! With the latest update, users can now book family appointments using customised filters through the Find Slot feature. This enhancement streamlines the scheduling process, reducing the time spent searching for available slots and ensuring that families can schedule visits more efficiently.
To proceed, select:
- Number of Appointments.
- Consecutive or Concurrent scheduling options.
- Utilise the Advanced Slot Search to refine results.
- Filter slots by Clinician or Speciality using dropdown options.
- Click Apply.
Next, select 'View More Details' for the option that best matches your criteria.
- Choose the Patient's name.
- After selecting the patient for the initial appointment, you can also select immediate family members for additional appointments.
- Confirm the slots by selecting Book and View in Diary.
- The appointments will promptly appear on the selected slots within the Diary.
This feature enhances efficiency and ensures that families can book appointments in a structured and seamless manner.
4. Clipboard Note Visibility
⭐In Clipboard, notes are now displayed directly on the tile for easy visibility without extra clicks. This streamlined view focuses on the most relevant information, improving usability and efficiency in scheduling workflows.
5. Automatically Set Clipboard Time Based on Appointment Type
⭐Now, when creating a Clipboard from the charts page, the system will automatically suggest a time based on the appointment type.
Here’s how it works:
- If you select a Production Type (like a cleaning or filling), the Clipboard will suggest a default time based on that type.
- If specific treatment codes are linked, the Clipboard will calculate the total time needed for all linked treatments.
- If you manually enter a time in the Clipboard, your selection will take priority over any automatic suggestions.
This ensures that appointment durations are set correctly, making scheduling more accurate and efficient.
1. Treatment Planner
- The updated Clinical Chart displays Patient Balance in red and Unapplied Credits in green, with clickable buttons.
2. Chart
⭐️ We want our charts to be easy and clear to read while our plans are simple and quick to create. To help deliver on this we have introduced a new draw type and are allowing you to clear out unwanted quick plans safely, making it easier to find the ones you actually need.
- A new Decay DrawType is added to the chart.
- We have introduced the ability to delete the Quick Plans with a validation check to ensure that Quick Plans in use cannot be deleted.
3. Perio Chart
⭐️ We have heard your feedback loud and clear! Changes made to the chart are now seamlessly reflected in the Perio and Bleeding Plaque charts. This improvement enhances accuracy and consistency, reducing the need for manual adjustments and ensuring a smoother workflow.
- The Missing, Impacted, and Hide Third Molar options have been removed from the Perio Chart.
- Any changes made in the Chart for a Patient (Missing, Crowns, Implants, Extractions) that should have an impact in the Perio and Bleeding Plaque Charts to reflect accordingly so that there is accuracy in calculating Perio Scores.
- All conditions and treatments made in the clinical chart will be reflected in the Perio & Bleeding and Plaque chart.
4. Care Notes
- You can now delete Care Notes. Finalised or completed notes are stricken through, and draft notes are removed from the list.
1. Payment Plan Control Center
- The Next Payment Amount and Next Payment Date columns now include filters to sort Payment amounts from largest to smallest and payment dates from oldest to newest, or vice versa.
2. Patient Payments Plans
- If Direct Debit is enabled, you can view the partially encrypted last four digits of the Card Number under the Payment Details section to easily identify and verify the card being tokenised.
1. Patient Portal / Kiosk
- Option to make Email addresses mandatory in the Kiosk Settings.
2. Forms
- When adding a Form to a patient that requires an appointment to be linked, future appointments will appear at the top of the appointment picker for quicker selection.
3. Online Appointments
- Introduced a location filter on the Potential Patient tab of the Online Appointments page. You can also choose to filter patients with No Location if needed.
4. Enable Bulk Document Sharing to Patient Portal
⭐Previously, users had to manually share documents one by one, making the process slow and frustrating—especially for organisations with multiple locations. This new feature allows users to select multiple documents and share them all at once, saving time and improving efficiency.
5. Enhanced Patient and Clinician Information on Forms/Letters
⭐To ensure forms and letters include accurate patient and clinician information, we’ve introduced new fields for better compliance and customisation.
Patient Title (Prefix) Support: Forms/letters now include a field for Mr., Ms., Dr., etc.
GDC Number for Clinicians: A dedicated GDC Number field is now available for clinicians. If a clinician is linked, the GDC number will populate automatically.
New Quick Links for Easy Insertion
To simplify form and letter configuration, we have introduced Quick Links that allow users to effortlessly insert these fields:
- @PAT_TITLE → Inserts the patient’s title (Mr., Ms., Dr., etc.).
- @CLINICIAN_GDC → Inserts the clinician’s GDC number (UK only).
These enhancements ensure that patient and clinician details are accurately captured, region-compliant, and easily integrated into forms and letters, streamlining document creation for front-office staff and administrators.
6. Auto-Share Completed Documents to Patient Portal - Office Wizard
⭐ To improve efficiency and ensure patients have timely access to their completed documents, users can now configure forms to be automatically shared with the Patient Portal upon completion.
Office Wizard Configuration:
A new setting has been added at the form level in the Office Wizard to enable/disable auto-sharing.
When enabled, completed forms will automatically be shared with the Patient Portal.
Patient Profile Integration:
In Patient Profile → Docs, the "Share to Patient Portal" toggle will be automatically enabled for documents configured for auto-sharing.
This enhancement eliminates the need for manual document sharing, making the process more efficient and ensuring that patients can easily access their completed forms.
1. Email Template
- Easily Insert Images into an Email Template directly from your system as a .PNG, .JPG, or .JPEG file.
2. Patient Titles
- Seven new prefixes have been added to Patient Titles, including Prof., Mx, Cllr., Lord, Lady, Sir, and Dame to accommodate diverse preferences.
3. Patient Snapshot
