The Payment Plan Control Center is your go-to for a quick snapshot of the Payment Plans in your practice.
For a quick overview of all Payment Plans at your practice,
Navigate to the System Menu > select Patient Payments > Payment Plan Control Center.
- The Payment Plan Control Center provides a list of all the Payment Plans for the practice.
- You can sort by Active Plans and Completed/Terminated to isolate either type of Payment Plan.
You can also select,
- Show Active Plans: To show the Active Payment Plans.
- Show Active Plans with Failed/Overdue Transactions Only: To show the Active Payment Plans with transactions that are either pending or failed.
- Show Active Plan with Signature Pending: To show all the Payment Plans that are yet to be signed.
- View Details/Pause: You can use these action buttons to either pause or view a Payment Plan agreement and update it.
- You can utilise filters such as Patient Name, Plan, Location, Plan Type, Contracted Amount, Amt. Paid, etc to narrow down your search.
- You can sort the data by Patient Name, Plan Name, and Plan Type alphabetically, by Contracted Amount, Amount Paid, Amount Due/Failed, and Next Payment Amount numerically, or by Next Payment Date from newest to oldest or vice versa.
The status 'F' stands for Failed Payments, O stands for Overdue Payments, S stands for Agreement Signature Pending and 'E' for any Exemption within the plan.
Take Action on Payment Plans
The Take Action button provides information about the total actionable transactions for the practice: Failed and Overdue Transactions on payment plans. This will assist the practice in identifying which plans require attention and need to be addressed. To find this information,
Click Take Action under Payment Plan Control Center.
On the resulting page, you will see the amount of money that is yet to be received by the practice due to Failed or Overdue transactions.
Here you can see:
- Patient Name
- Name (Plan Name)
- Type (Payment Plan Type)
- Scheduled. Date
- Payment Amount
- Direct Debit Information
- Status
You can perform the following actions:
- Pay Now: This will let you add a payment receipt for transactions you may have left out before.
- Mark as Failed: Marking a transaction as a failed will reflect it on your practice's KPI summary.
- View Details: This will open the plan details for the payment plan, and you can make any necessary changes as needed. Users will be able to Terminate Plans, Pause Plans, change the payment type, frequency, and periodic payment amount, or even complete the plan.
- Retry Payment: This will let you retry a failed payment.
Practices can use this guide to keep track of all the payments likely to have missed out otherwise.
