CareStack’s 10.19 Release introduces a remarkable lineup of enhancements designed to simplify workflows, improve usability, and save time across all aspects of your practice. From scheduling upgrades to patient engagement, clinical tools, payments, and reporting, this release empowers practices to operate with greater efficiency and precision.
In the Diary, you can now link recalls to appointments directly from the appointment slider, enabling smoother recall management. Additionally, fee schedules are now colour-coded to seamlessly display payor information. On the Clinical front, charting for pre-molars now aligns with the 8-bit charting used for molars. Furthermore, enhanced BPE functionality lets you attach notes and capture ‘X’ inputs, alongside existing scores (0-4). What’s more, grouping service categories and reordering treatment phases is now more intuitive than ever.
In Patient Engagement, we’ve streamlined medical history management by removing medication overwrites, ensuring a cleaner, more accurate history. As for Reputation Management, users now have the option to exclude patients from receiving review requests and filter review automation by location. Under Patient Services, appointment messages now feature exciting updates, including a quick-call option, a date column, and direct appointment scheduling.
Patient Payments have also been enhanced with customisable invoice footers, support for practice logos, dates of service, and better balance tracking. Additionally, direct transfer receipts can now be linked to payment plans. Lastly, Analytics gets a boost with refined trend analysis and enhanced capabilities in Opportunity Miner, ensuring practices can make data-driven decisions with greater ease.

1. Patient Tracker
- Set the Threshold Time to 0 for instant patient tracker notifications as soon as the corresponding custom appointment status is updated.
- Prioritise actions with a quick view of the total number of Pending Recalls on the Action(s) Required drop-down.
2. Reschedule Queue
- The Reschedule Queue List printout provides visibility on the Status and Reason for appointments, aiding users in effectively managing the rescheduling process.

- Experience a simpler workflow with the ability to directly link one or more Recall(s) of a patient to its intended appointment.

- Stay updated on the linked Fee Schedule status with a hover over the appointment tile.

- 8-Bit Charting for Pre-Molars: Leverage the extended ability to perform 8-bit charting to the pre-molar tooth ‘4’ and ‘5’.
- Enhanced BPE: Utilise the new keyboard shortcut ‘X’ to indicate that no Perio Score was captured and also benefit from the option to add a relevant Note while creating the BPE Record.
- Easily rearrange the phases of a treatment plan with a simple drag and drop.
2. Perio Chart Settings
- Introduced a new probing direction that allows to move from left to right in all 4 directions.
3. Service Categories
- Effortlessy group Procedures or Conditions while adding or modifying a Service Category.
4. Fee Schedule
- Utilise the option to colour-code fee schedules, allowing you to quickly distinguish appointments by their respective payor types.
5. Implant Tracker
- We have introduced the ability to Delete Implant(s) from the grid and generate Report Printouts for one or more implants.
1. Payment Plan
- A quick hover over any failed payment transactions on a payment plan with direct debit enabled lets you view the Failure Reasons.
- Option to select Direct Transfer as the payment method in a new payment plan.
- Presenting the capability to link Direct Transfer Receipts with a payment schedule.
2. Practice Settings
- Enjoy the flexibility to add an Invoice Footer for a location, providing the convenience of displaying terms, conditions, or notes in a patient invoice print.
3. Invoice
- The enhanced Invoice Print now displays the Practice Logo, Payment Details, Invoice Balance, Date of Service, Invoice Footer, and Net Patient Balance.
1. Online Appointments
- Access the Date and Time when the appointment message was received.
- Conversion of appointment message into a booking with a View in Diary button where you can create a new patient profile for the requested patient.
- Quickly initiate a Call with the potential patient while reviewing the appointment message.
1. Reputation Management
- Utilise the Locations filter to view Review Request Automations for the intended location(s).
- Exclude existing or new patients from receiving review requests.
2. Add New Patient
- Selecting a Post-Code suggestion will automatically populate the address details.
3. Medical History Forms
- View the date of the Last medication update when adding a new medical history form.
- The updated configuration to ‘carry over existing data to new form’, when enabled, will automatically carry over all the existing data, including previous medical history form data, ensuring that no prior medical history information of a patient is lost.
4. Medical Alerts
- When a medication is removed from a patient's medical alerts, it will appear with a strikethrough allowing users to view all of the patient's previous medications without losing any data.
1. Operational Reports
- Large files will now automatically be downloaded to your system once processed, eliminating the need to manually visit the Scheduled Downloads page.
2. Trend Analysis
- Ability to compare metrics across multiple locations or clinicians, with the total value being the aggregate of the drilled-down values. A tooltip has been introduced to inform users of the ability to drill down, enabling them to navigate data more effectively.
3. Opportunity Miner
- Enhanced Referral Filters and Columns: Opportunity Miner now includes new demographic filters, including Primary Referral Source and Primary Referral Sub-Category, for refined patient searches.
- Six additional columns have been added under Referrals for easier analysis of referral information, helping you efficiently identify production and collection opportunities associated with referral sources.
- Introducing the ‘Between’ Condition for Date Range Filters: Users can now apply date ranges more effectively using the new ‘Between’ condition. This update is available for filters such as Upcoming Recall Due, Statement Sent, and Patient Payment Date.
