Read on to explore the exciting features the 10.26 Release has to offer!
1. Diary
- Utilise the new Warning icon to manage appointments hidden by Diary filters or clinician unavailability. Let's say a clinician is marked as unavailable or their schedule is deleted with an appointment, if so, the associated surgery and its scheduled appointments will be automatically removed, but can be still viewed via the Warning button.
- Additional ability to review Appointment Details and update Appointment Status.
- Previously, Cancelled or No-Show appointments were removed from the diary, making it difficult to track them. To address this, we've added a new button that displays these appointments in their originally scheduled time slots.
- No-Show appointments will appear stricken off from one direction.
- Cancelled appointments in a mesh pattern will appear with strikethroughs on the text.
- Additionally, Canceled - CN and No-Show - NS flags appear within the appointment tile for clearer labelling.
- The Legend and Time Zone options are now moved under a three dot menu on the top bar and visible upon hover.
- We have added an X button that allows users to successfully clear a previously selected Post Town field input in Practice Settings, available within Basic Information and Location Details.
2. Dashboard
- The FAM UNSCHEDULED section is now renamed as Unscheduled TX (Treatment) with a tooltip that clarifies the appointments are for the day where the patient or their family members have unscheduled treatment.
3. Block Slot
- Experience improved visibility of Block slot details such as Clinician Name and Notes even when the slot falls outside regular working hours.
- This update ensures information is clearly shown, regardless of the extended working hours setting.
1. Sundry
We have introduced a new feature to add Sundry Items, to help practices easily add, manage, and bill miscellaneous over-the-counter products (e.g., dental floss, mouthwash) sold during patient checkout. Sundry items are typically added at the reception when patients complete their visit.
- Sundry items can be added and billed from multiple patient billing sections, including Payments slide-out, Account Summary, and Ledger.
- You can access from the Patient’s Chart but not recommended. Preferred workflow is for front office staff to add sundry items from billing areas without accessing the patient’s chart.
- Sundry items are configured as service codes marked with a ‘sundry’ code type, similar to procedure codes.
- If an invoice exists for the day, sundry items are added to it; otherwise, a new invoice is created automatically.
- Clinicians can be assigned to sundry items. Invoices open automatically only when sundry items are added from the Account Summary page.
- Adding sundry items from Payments or Ledger adds them without opening the invoice automatically.
- This feature streamlines checkout by enabling accurate and efficient billing of sundry items alongside regular treatments.
1. Sundry Codes
- Users can now categorise procedure codes as Sundry Code Type.
- When Sundry is selected, fields such as Effective Date, Termination Date, Appointment Length, Draw Type, and NHS will be automatically hidden.
- Use the Code Type filter and view the sundry items.
- Sundry codes are configured and accessible within your Fee Tables.
2. Treatment Plan
- We have added 3 new options (Show Tooth Surface, Show Code Status, and Show Code Level Date) to location specific Treatment Plan Print Settings in Practice Settings, enabling which will display the Date, Tooth/Surface, and Status columns in both the digital and printed copy of your treatment plans. If disabled, these three columns will not appear.
-
Treatment Plan phases will now automatically rename when reordered.
- If you manually rename a phase, the custom name will be retained even when rearranged.
- Deleting a phase will cause subsequent phases to renumber automatically.
3. Recalls
- The Recalls List is now updated to show only actionable recall types such as: Unscheduled, Overdue, and Broken.
- Do Not Recall and Scheduled types have been removed to help users focus on recalls that need attention.
1. Patient Portal
- Patients can now download receipts or print them directly from the Patient Portal (under Patient Portal > Payment History).
- This includes payments made through payment plans, enhancing transparency and convenience for patients.
- Introduced new settings to include the General Practitioner field appear in the Patient Portal or Kiosk and mark it as mandatory, as needed.
2. Add or Edit Patient Slide-Out
- Practices can now enter details of General Practitioners to a patient’s profile while adding a new patient or updating an existing patient.
3. Forms
- Make use of the newly added quick links to add General Practitioner information.
- When adding a new form to a patient, the General Practitioner (GP) details will auto-populate if they have already been entered in the patient’s profile.
- The GP details will also auto-populate while filling out a pending form from the Patient Portal.
4. Office Wizard (Letters)
- We have extended the Share by default to Patient Portal once completed option to letters, allowing letters to be automatically shared to the Patient Portal similar to how forms are shared.
- Once a letter is completed and saved, patients can access it in their Patient documents section.
1. Outlook Email Configuration in Correspondence
- Users can now add their Outlook email account directly from the Communication Hub.
1. Aging Report
- The all new ‘Aging Report’ provides users with a clear breakdown of outstanding patient balances by aging buckets, helping practices monitor overdue amounts and prioritise follow-ups more effectively.
- Ability to filter by location and clinician, view total aging at a glance, and drill down into patient-level balances making it easier to monitor overdue amounts and prioritise follow-ups based on how long balances have been outstanding.
1. Referral Sources
- Introduced the ability to deactivate system-provided Referral Sources in Practice Settings.
- Deactivated referral clinicians will not appear when selecting referrals while creating or editing a patient profile or in the appointment portal.
- If a patient is linked to a deactivated source, the link stays intact and shows as inactive during editing, allowing to save without issues.
- However, once changed or removed, the deactivated source will no longer be available for selection. This feature has been designed to improve and support different practice SOPs.
