- Kiosk Mode is typically used when patients need to access their CareStack profile and fill out forms through your device. Your practice can even require an extra layer of authentication. This mode is considered safe for patients to take the tablet and use it privately since they have to know patient information to access the records and require an employee login to change modes.
- Office Mode is for patients to review forms and treatment plans, typically in a surgery. It does not have the authentication step, so it should be closely monitored when patients are using it, as they could see the information for other patients on your schedule.
| Note: For both Kiosk and Office Mode, you need to select the Location where the tablet is being used to continue and enter the user login password when prompted. This prevents patients from navigating between the two different modes. |
