In CareStack, you can find your preferred slot using filters and customise both the slots and their filters in the user-level and account-level settings.

Setup a User Filter
Users can create their preferred Diary filters in their User Settings by performing the following steps:
- Navigate to the System Menu > select User Settings.
- Select the Diary Filter on the left.
- Click + Add User Filter.

Enter the following details.
- Filter Name: Enter a clear, easily identifiable name for this filter.
- Filter Description: Enter a description to help identify the purpose of this filter.
- Locations: Select the locations that should be viewable when using this filter in the Diary.
- Specialities: Select the preferred specialities to see only those surgeries when using this filter. When you select a speciality, the Diary will display only clinicians who have that speciality listed in their clinician details and are assigned to surgeries in the selected location(s).
- Clinicians: Select the preferred clinicians to see only those surgeries when using this filter. Make sure the treatment Clinicians have been assigned to the correct surgeries by setting this up in the production calendar.
- Production Types: Select the intended production types to see only those surgeries when using this filter.
- Assign production types to certain surgeries and periods by setting this up in the Production Calendar.
- Click Save.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Diary Filter created successfully'.
Setup an Account Filter
Account Filters are the preset combinations of Locations, Specialties, Clinicians, and Production Types that give you the desired columns for your Diary.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Diary > Account Filters.
To create a new Account Filter,
- Click +Add Account Filter at the top-right.

Enter the preferred details for your new filter:
- Filter Name: Enter an easily identifiable name for the use of this filter.
- Filter Description: Enter a description to help identify the purpose of this filter.
- Locations: Select the locations that should be viewable when using this filter in the Diary.
- Specialties: Select the preferred specialities to see only those surgeries when using this filter. When you select a speciality, the Diary will display only clinicians who have that speciality listed in their clinician details and are assigned to surgeries in the selected location(s).
- Clinicians: Select the preferred Clinicians to see only those surgeries when using this filter. Make sure the treatment Clinicians have been assigned to the correct surgeries by setting this up in the Production Calendar.
- Production Types: Select the intended production types to see only those surgeries when using this filter.
- Assign production types to certain surgeries and periods by setting this up in the Production Calendar.
- Once completed, click Save.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Account Filter created successfully'.
To edit an existing Account Filter,
- Click Edit next to the filter you want to modify.

On the Update Account Filter pop-up, make the necessary changes.
- Click Save.
If you want to delete an Account Filter,
- Select the required filter(s) on the grid.
- Click Delete on the top.
- A warning modal stating 'Are you sure you want to delete the selected filter(s)?' appears,
- Click Yes if you wish to delete.
