A recall is a reminder for follow-up visits that helps dentists and patients maintain a healthy and ongoing maintenance routine. Once a recall code is created, the system will automatically prompt users to create a recall reminder for follow-up treatment. This feature reduces missed opportunities when patients forget to schedule their follow-up treatments.

Schedule an Appointment via the Recalls List
If you would like a quick list of all your patients who currently have not scheduled their recall appointment, you can navigate to the Diary and search for the patient from the Recalls list manually. To do so,
- On the Dashboard, navigate to Lists > select Recalls.

Set the recall Status to Unscheduled to view all patients who are not currently scheduled for their recall appointment.
- Click Apply after selection.
- You will able to view the list of unscheduled patients based on the filter applied.
- Clicking on the patient detail will open the Diary to book the appointment.
Schedule an Appointment via the Patient Overview
Once you have found the right patient who has an unscheduled recall, perform the following steps to schedule an appointment.
- Navigate to the Patient Overview > click Unscheduled Recall or Recall Overdue under Action(s) Required.
- Select an appointment slot on the Diary.
- Select the Production Type.
- Click Link Recall to add required treatments according to the recall code.
- Click Link to Appointment.
- Click Book Appointment.
- The recall will be attached to the appointment ensuring that the patient is removed from the recall list.
Schedule an Appointment via the Patient Recalls
If a patient has an unscheduled recall that is tied to a production type and the user creating a new appointment and selecting that same production type in the Appointment slide-out, then the recall will be automatically linked to this appointment. To do so,
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Hover over Appts. (Appointments) > select Recalls.
- Add recalls in the Account Recalls slide-out, with the specific Production Type. (To add recalls for a patient on the Account Recalls> under Add Recalls section, click Add Recall and provide the Recall Name, Duration, From, Due Date, Linked Appointment and Clinician)
- The recall will automatically link to an appointment booked under the same Production Type.
