CareStack now allows you to select the Payor for a treatment plan. The available options depend on the patient’s selected payor, and the treatment’s fee is calculated based on the fee configured for that payor selected for the treatment.
Watch this video for a concise summary.
Let's explore how this applies to different types of patients, such as:
To begin,
Search for the patient using the Global Search Bar.
NHS Patients
- On the desired NHS Patient's plan, users can select the payor type from the dropdown.
- NHS is selected by default for NHS patients, but users can switch between NHS and Private.
- Users can also select the payor type at the treatment level.
- Treatment fees may vary depending on the configuration of each payor.
When a Non-NHS code is added to an NHS plan, the treatment will be treated as Private and the fee will be determined accordingly.
By default, the Private Fee Schedule is applied, and NHS is greyed out.
Private Patients
When a patient's payor is set to Private, the payor type cannot be changed at the Plan or Treatment level.
