Let's take a look at how we can set up or change a user's working hours. Sometimes after setting up all your users in CareStack, you may need to make changes to a user's working hours. Let's learn how to make the required changes.
Also, this guide will provide you with the necessary information on how to address the login error that a user is likely to face when trying to log in outside of their working hours.
Let's get started!
- Navigate to your System Menu > Practice Settings > Administration > Users > click on the desired User.
Click View for the intended User.
- Select Working Hours on the left.
- Click Edit at the bottom right.
-
Checkmark the Enable Working Hours checkbox if the user is being set up for the first time > edit the working hours> click 'Save'.
- Note: If one of the users in your office needs to work outside their working hours, you may get an error that states "trying to log in outside of working hours, please contact your administrator". In such a scenario, uncheck the Enable Working Hours box and select Save.
- Next, select the desired option for the User Working Hour Settings that you would like to set up as your working hours.
- The available options include Account / Location and Custom Working Hours. Choose the option as suited to your practice's requirements.
Tip: If you choose Account or Location Working Hours, then the respective hours set at the account/location level shall be reflected.
Let's select Use Custom Working Hours to make the required changes.
- Select Yes for the Day of the Week that is a Working Day.
-
Choose your desired Start and End Time(s).
Note: If you would like the same timings replicated across the remaining days, select Apply for all days. Yet, if the timings are different, choose the timing as suited to your requirements. - Click on Save at the bottom right to save your changes.
- You will see the following Warning pop up. Select Yes to continue.
- A notification will appear on the top right stating, 'User Working hours updated successfully.'
