Add Incomplete Treatment Codes to NHS Claims

The NHS supports submitting claims for treatments that are partially completed. Let's see how to submit these claims.

To get started! 

• Search for the patient using the Global Search Bar.
• Click the Chart quick link for the intended patient.

On the desired NHS Patient's plan, 

• Search for and choose the treatment code from the right.
• Once the treatment is added to the chart, it will be visible in the plan.

• Click the circle next to the treatment to mark the code as completed.

Clinicians can submit NHS claims for treatments that are partially completed. If a patient fails to return to complete a course of treatment, the claim can indicate that the service was not fully completed. The treatment will then be recorded as an Incomplete Treatment.

• Click Submit Claim to access the Claim submission form.

• Treatments marked as Incomplete Treatment, if any, are shown in the form.

Note: 

• Patient Payable will be corresponding to the highest band of the Completed Treatment.
• Band claimed for Incomplete CoT specifies the Band to be claimed since the Course of Treatment is submitted as incomplete. 
  • The band you select from the drop-down will set the UDA and Band for that claim, which is sent to the NHS. 
  • This updates in real-time in the top right of the Claim Submission form.
