If a patient has a membership, you can easily check the status of their subscription and view their membership discounts on the ledger.

View Discounts Available with a Membership Plan Subscription
- When you see a 'Patient has shown interest in Budget Plan' (or any other plan) banner in the Appointment slide-out or Patient Overview, you can click on View Plans beside it to view the related membership plan and add it to the patient by selecting the Add Plan button on the right.
If the patient is an active subscriber to the Membership Plan,
- On Patient Overview, you can see which membership plan the patient has subscribed to, its status, whether Auto-Renewal is On or Off, their Billing Cycle, and the Expiration date. If Auto-Renewal is turned on, the expiration date will state N/A.
- The Membership plan information will be displayed on the left side of the Appointment Slide-out.
To fix a pending payment status of a membership plan, refer to Complete the Pending Payment of a Membership Plan.
Note: If a future payment fails for a plan, the Billing Status will show as Failed. This could occur due to reasons such as insufficient funds, an expired/locked card, or other issues. In such a situation, click on "Go to Payment Plan" at the top right. This action will open the Payment Plan details page, where you can select "Retry Payment." |
- When you complete any Procedure Code(s) that have a Membership Discount associated with them, whether it is a 100% discount due to the included benefits or a percentage or pound amount discount due to the custom code category discounts, you will see a Membership Credit.

View Membership Discounts on the Ledger
Perform the steps below to view the membership discounts on the ledger.
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Hover over Billing > select Ledger.
On the All Transactions,
- Let us consider a scenario in which two Procedure Codes were completed, and each of them, upon completion, automatically had a Membership Credit completed along with it.
- Locate the same procedure codes on the ledger and find separate Payment receipts below the completed procedure codes as Membership Credits.
- Click the completed Procedure Code(s) from the ledger to open the CodeStack.
- Under the Fee Details section, you can see the Membership Discounts, and the impacted patient's Net Fee that they owe for that Procedure Code.

Tip: You can search for a patient by entering their name in the member column and view all/successful transactions. The list is exportable to CSV for record-keeping. |
