Utilise the Performance feature to access the stats on the in-house production, patient payments, patient schedules, and visits.
Let's explore this quick guide to access and understand its key features.
- On the Front Office Dashboard, select Performance on the top left.
- Click the respective tabs on the top left to view stats for MTD, QTD, YTD, or the Last 30 days.
| Note: To download the stats on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the Performance section, select 'Download All KPIs as CSV' on the top right. The downloaded files can be viewed in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. |
The Performance section comprises:
- Gross Production
- Patient Collection
- Active Patient Overview
- Patients Visits

Note: All of the stats refer to the selected date range and location with the exclusion of Migrated Balances (MSB). |
Let's check out what each of these sections reflects to its users:
Gross Production:
- Covers the total amount (Gross Production) produced from Completed Procedures versus (vs) Total Production Goal.
- Displays the In-House Dentist / Hygienist Production vs Total Production Goal.
- Presents a graphical representation of the practice's Production Trend.
Patient Collection:
- Presents Over the Counter (OTC) payments collected in the practice from patients on the Date of Treatment for the portion they have to pay vs Total Production Goal.
- Patient Expected refers to the payment amount expected from patients for the completed procedures of the day.
- Insurance Expected refers to the payment amount expected from insurance for the completed procedures of the day.
- Presents a graphical representation of the practice's OTC Collection Trend.
Active Patient Overview:

Total Active Patients refers to the overall number of active patients.
- This includes all patients not set as inactive in CareStack.
- Scheduled Active Patients refers to the number of active patients with appointments scheduled for the future.
- Unscheduled Active Patients refers to the number of active patients with no future appointments.
- Select View Patients to view and take action on the Patient List.

- Total Visits refers to the overall number of new/existing patients who had an appointment checked out or had treatment completed.
- New Patient Visits refer to the distinct number of new patients who had an appointment checked out or had treatment completed.
- Hygiene Visits refer to the distinct number of patients who had a hygiene code completed.
- Select View Patients to view and take action on the corresponding Patient List.
