This report provides a comprehensive view of all prescriptions prescribed within the system. It supports filtering by prescribing users, Clinicians, or specific medications, making it easy to generate reports that focus on prescriptions entered by a particular user or for a specific medication. - Navigate to the System Menu > select Operational Reports under Insights.
- Click the + icon on the left or the Generate Report button on the right for the chosen report.

The Prescriptions Report provides a detailed view of all prescriptions prescribed in the system, with filters to analyse activity by user, clinician, or medication. The report features a simple, single-view format with three mandatory fields: date range, location, and the columns to display, offering both flexibility and ease of use.

Generation/Download Criteria
- Due to data volume, reports with more than 10 Locations or a date range exceeding 6 Months will not generate on-screen.
- Reports meeting these criteria will be accessible in the Scheduled Downloads section.

- Date: The date the prescription was added.
- User: The User who added the prescription.
- Clinician: Clinician against which this prescription is tagged.
- Source: Type of prescription
- Patient Name: Name of the patient against whom the prescription is added.
- Patient ID: The system-assigned number used to identify the patient and their records.
- Default Location: The Default location is tagged against the patient.
- Title: Title of the prescription added.
- Pharmacy: Pharmacy tagged against this prescription.
- Medication Name: The name of the medication prescribed.
- Dosage Form: The form in which the medication is prescribed.
- Quantity: The total amount of medication prescribed.
- Days: The number of days for which the medication is prescribed.
- Refills: The number of times the prescription can be refilled without requiring a new order from the Clinician.
- Sig: The Clinician’s instructions on how the patient should take or use the medication.
- Notes: Any additional notes or comments related to the prescription, added by the Clinician or staff.
- Start Date: The date on which the patient is expected to begin using the prescribed medication.
- End Date: The date on which the prescribed course of medication is expected to be completed.
In case users in your practice are not able to utilise this report, this may be the reason.
To enable permissions for the Prescriptions Report, follow these steps.
- Navigate to System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration.
- Click Manage Permissions for the intended profile.
- Select Insights.
- Checkmark the Generate Prescriptions Report under Operational Reports to enable the permission.
- Click Save.
- Only users with the Generate Prescriptions Report permission set to Yes will be able to generate the report.
