Adding Bleeding and Plaque Chart
Let's get started!
- Begin by searching for the intended patient in the Global Search Bar.
- Click the Perio quick link.
On the Bleeding and Plaque tab,
To add a chart, click + Add Chart.
- Select the Clinician and Location.
- Checkmark the Select a previous Date to choose an Exam Date.
- Click Add.
In the Bleeding and Plaque tab you can find three sections:
Plaque
- This section is used to mark the tooth surface with plaque.
- It is marked in yellow colour.
- On the right, you can find a corresponding percentage calculated based on the surfaces.
- In the below example, 9 out of 128 Surfaces are affected by Plaque, and 7.0% is the percentage.
Bleeding
- This section is used to mark the tooth surface with bleeding.
- It is marked in red colour.
- In the below example, 9 out of 128 Surfaces are affected by Bleeding, and 7.0% is the percentage.
Plaque and Bleeding
- This section is used to highlight the tooth surface with plaque and bleeding.
- The tooth surface with both plaque and bleeding is marked in orange.
- In the below example, 2 out of 128 Surfaces are affected by Bleeding, and 1.6% is the corresponding percentage.
Tip: When a surface is marked in the Plaque and Bleeding section, it is automatically reflected in both the Plaque and Bleeding sections. |
Click Finish to have the Perio Chart saved successfully.
- As you click Finish, a Print Preview will open up.
- Click Save or Cancel as suited to your requirement.
Manage Settings to Print the Chart
To print the bleeding and plaque chart, we need to enable it in the settings. To do that,
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Perio Chart under Clinical.
Click Edit to make the changes.
- Checkmark the Include bleeding and plaque chart checkbox under the Print chart after finishing exam checkbox.
- Once you have made the changes, click Save.
To enable permissions for a Clinicians:
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Clinicians.
On the desired Clinician Name, click Edit.
- Checkmark the Include bleeding and plaque chart checkbox under the Print chart after finishing exam checkbox.
- Once you have made the changes, click Save.
