Practices can utilise the quick plan feature, which is a custom-made treatment plan template. Users can quickly add preset quick plans to speed up the treatment planning process. The Quick Plans feature is equipped with many useful features.

Add Quick Plans to Chart
- Select the intended patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click Clinical > select Chart.
On the Quick Plans tab,
- Codes that DO NOT require additional actions (such as selecting a tooth or surface) will be automatically included in the treatment plan.
- Select a quick plan from the list.
A toast notification will appear on the top right stating 'Treatment added successfully'.
- For quick plans that require additional actions (such as selection of teeth or surface):
- Select a quick plan from the list.
- You can see a new Tx Plan has been created.
- Select the required teeth.
- Once you select the teeth, a colour code will be marked on the chart based on the code.
- You will receive a toast notification stating, 'Care Note(s) successfully added' and 'Treatment added successfully'.
- Click Next on the selected Quick Plan.
Select the required Teeth or Surface for all codes.
Click Done.
You can create a treatment plan template using the treatment plan added.
- Click on the three-dot menu.
- Select Create Tx. Plan Template.
On the Add Treatment Plan Template slide-out.
- Enter the Template Name you want it to be saved as.
- Select the desired Share with Everyone or Select for clinician.
- Search and add codes from the drop-down, or remove the existing code.
- Click Assign Time to set a duration for the appointment.
- Click + Add Appointment to add a new appointment to the template.
- You can also replicate the same code again in the same appointment using the copy icon or delete it using the bin icon.
- Click Save.
- You can also move codes from one appointment to another or rearrange codes within an appointment by simply dragging and dropping the codes as required.
- You can find the created template when you search for it in the Quick Plans.
Note: The custom appointment names that are used in the original treatment plan are retained when a treatment template is used. |
Delete Quick Plans
To delete a Quick Plan from the list:
- Hover over the desired plan.
- Click the Bin icon that appears on the right.
- A Delete Quick Plan warning modal appears as shown below.
- Click Delete Plan to proceed.
Note: A warning message comes stating, 'This Quick Plan is in use by another user for another patient. Please complete or cancel active workflows before attempting to delete this Quick plan' appears. |
- Complete or Cancel the procedure to delete the plan.
Configure Crown or Bridge Draw Type
While using quick plans, you can see the colour of teeth or surface changes based on the selected procedure codes and draw types. Users can add specific characters for the Bridge and Crown draw types from the Practice Settings.
To do this, perform the steps below.
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Treatments > Procedures.
Click + Add New Procedure.
- Enter the Procedure Code and Description.
- Select the Draw Type as Crown or Bridge.
- Enter the Character to be shown in the chart.
- You can Set Colour for the draw type. The default colour will be black.
- Once the preferred colour is selected, click Apply.
- Click Save.
You will receive a toast notification stating 'Procedure Code added successfully'.
To access the newly created draw type:
- Select the indented patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click Clinical > Chart.
- Select the newly created crown or bridge procedure from the right.
- Click on the required Teeth or Surface to apply the treatment.
- You can see the Crown or Bridge draw type with characters on the Chart.
