If you would like your patients to fill out their paperwork before their appointment, you can send a text reminder and email reminder to notify them of the same.

Let's explore this simple workflow.
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Templates > Email or Text.
- Click +Add on the top right to create an Email or Text reminder.
To create an email or text template for reminding pending forms,
- Ensure that the Name and Contents fields which are mandatory are populated as per your practice's requirements.
- Fill in the desired details in your text template and include the @pendingforms tag.
- Click Save to save the text template and continue.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating 'Template updated successfully.'
Once your practice has set up the Forms Reminder Template within Practice Settings, here is what you need to do.
- Search for the intended patient in the Global Search Bar.
- Select the +Message quick link.
Note: Now you are ready to send an individual text to the required patient(s). |
On the Add Message pop-up window that opens up,
- Select the Email or Text option on the top left.
- Click Select a Template on the right to select the Pending form template that you just set up.
- If needed, you can further customise the message based on your practice's requirements.
- Ensure to click Send once done.
