Touchpoints to Access Add Message Modal
You can access the Add Message modal through the following touchpoints.
1. Patient Overview
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click the + Message quick link from the Patient Overview page.
2. Appointment Slide-out
- Click on an appointment from the Diary or Appointments Lists page.
- Click the + Message quick link.
3. Diary
- Right-click an appointment from the Diary.
- Click Email/SMS.
4. Patient Menu
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click Menu and select the Send Email/SMS option.
These are the quick touchpoints to access and send a message or email to a patient.
Send a Text or Email
In the Add Message modal:
- Select the Email or Text tab as needed.
For Email
Enter the following information:
- To: The selected patient's name will be pre-populated in the To field.
- From: Select your email address on the From option.
- Subject: Enter the Subject of the email.
- Content: Enter the content for the email, or Use Template from the drop-down list to populate a saved email template.
- Drag and drop any required files to add attachments, or click Browse Files to select the file to upload to the system.
- Click Send Email.
For Text
Enter the following information:
- You will see the Patient's Name and Phone Number.
- Enter the Content for the text message. Note: The character count for a Text Message is limited to 160.
- If you have a saved template, click Select a Template to choose the desired one.
- Click Send.
